The Cinderella Debutante

My next Regency romance The Cinderella Debutante will be published by E-scape Press on 24th September 2012!

This release is particularly exciting as it's one of two books launching E-scape's new imprint Ballgown Books which will feature historical and contemporary stories.

The Cinderella Debutante is a light-hearted Regency romance based on the Cinderella story but with a few twists.  Don't ya just love Cinderella-themed stories?! :0)

Here's the blurb:

Lucy Sinclair’s London Season was cut short by tragedy. Now, five years later, she is returning but only in the shadow of her lovely step-sister. Belinda is determined to catch a titled husband and Alex, Lord Devlyn fits the bill perfectly.

Lucy finds Alex devastatingly attractive yet knows he will be dazzled by Belinda’s beauty. It seems her one chance of love is lost forever until an unlikely fairy godmother makes Lucy the belle of the ball...

I hope readers will enjoy.  The Cinderella Debutante is unashamedly sprinkled with oodles of wish-fulfillment fairy dust *g*

Look out for more details, links, giveaways and a new E-scape website for Ballgown Books soon.

New release and free download offer!

Yay, my new Regency novel published by Astraea Press - A Bright Particular Star - will be released a little earlier than expected on 5th April 2012!  I'm so looking forward to this novel being 'out there'; I really love the story and characters so fingers crossed readers will too :)

Although it can be read as a stand-alone, A Bright Particular Star features characters from a previous book, Ice Angel, so look out for the Kindle edition of that when it releases in the summer.

Brief Encounters - Judge the Cover Poll

Vote! by Gil Elvgren
As mentioned in my previous post, a collection of short stories by me, Phillipa Ashley and Nell Dixon will be coming out later this spring.  The stories (published by E-scape Press and entitled Brief Encounters) are a fantastic mix of contemporary and historical shorts which we hope our readers will love!

At the Brief Encounters blog we are running a poll on potential covers and we'd like our readers to comment and vote for their favourite image.  The poll will be open until midnight on Saturday (GMT) and as an extra bonus, Nell will choose a random commentor to receive a PDF copy of her latest release, Making Waves

Please pop over to the blog and vote - we want to hear what you think! :0)
